Web design and development class demonstrator (2021)

Helped students to understand the basics of web development and design using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Answered the questions and guided them through the exercises given for the university tutorial classes.

Citigroup Inc., London

Technology Placement Analyst (2019-2020)

Worked as a part of a global developer team building software for traders using JavaScript, Angular, SCSS and Node.JS. Designed, developed, tested and released production code. Mostly focused and contributed to UI but also wrote scripts for extracting information from server messages for monitoring purposes using ElasticSearch, Logstash and Kibana.

Worked with internal clients to come up with user experience design solutions that would serve best the business users’ needs.

Kids Programming Club Instructor (2015-2017)

I was responsible for teaching the basics of Java to a group of 9 to 12-year-old children in a weekly after-school club in Finland. We played games that taught Java and at the end of the year, I supervised them building their own games using Scratch.

Fokus Media Finland Oy, Helsinki

AD/ Layout Assistant (2016-2017)

The responsibilities included creating advertising material for the company, writing small articles for a gaming magazine and editing around 2000 photographs per month for a leading Finnish interior design magazine. The work included colour correcting the images and removing some elements from them using Photoshop.

BSc (Hons) Web Design and Development (2017-2021)

The relevant modules include object orientated programming (C#, Java, Python), web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS), user experience design, interaction design, mobile development, and database systems (SQL). Skills developed through university projects are abilities to produce well-structured code and to utilise design patterns, strong problem-solving skills, prototyping using Figma and Axure RP, documenting the process, teamwork, leadership and negotiation skills.
